.

The sea
Slowly laps the shore
While clouds drift across
The face of a stolid silver moon

Occasionally a star
Will sparkle
Only then to disappear
Water falling
From wooden eaves

No crickets singing
In the weeds
Even the cat
With its feral courage
Chooses now to stay in

One can feel
Again the leaves
Begin to change

In the cold autumn rain

Autumn's breath is felt here.

Very good!

I feel the tinge of snow in the air.  Well done.

I liked this simplicity. Thanks!

There is frost in the air in this one.
