     Sunset Beach
    (an impression)

Soft pastel-rose clouds
sail a tender teal sky,
over gentle jade waves
that break as
soft white foam
on velvet-beige sand,
near brick-red cliffs
marching to the
beckoning sea.

Nice...there is a Sunset Beach in Southern California...right next to Seal Beach...oh, and if you ever go to Seal Beach, try some Mexican food at Surf Taco...the wet Steak Burrito is delicious...James

James and Midnitesun, living in PA and visiting NJ, I've always felt the Pacific was on the wrong side when I've been on the West Coast. ~*smiling*~ It's very disconcerting! Try Sunset Beach in Cape May Point... It's got all of DreamPoet's colors except for the red cliffs... Again, fine write!
