rim of dark night encloses her
lapping waves call her name Starshine
softly she drapes white lily hand on his arm
in pale of lilac she walks as his

His gaze upon her sparkling eyes so pure,
he feels her move inside his soul so sure.
Beauty oh so rare, moonbeams in her hair,
she shares his soul; his heart belongs to her.

strong hands anchor her waist
moonbeamed head lays itself on his chest
her heart swells in the beating
scent of jasmine lives in midnight dreams

His heart speeds with the wind to cause a swoon,
while mental music plays a sensual tune.
Lilac, Jasmine play in a sweet bouquet
they dance beneath the shadow of the moon.

his arms hold her in soft sway
heartbeat to heartbeat
glow of her polestar in his ice blue eyes
his breath holding the moments apart

Whenever, side by side or far apart,
remaining at the end, just like the start.
Moonshadow so bright, mixed with soft Starlight,
forever bound together at the heart.

Thank you to friends of the blue pages
who continue to encourage so kindly.
I am most honored to be a part of this piece.
I am most blessed to have the privilege
to know such an elegant Lady, dear friend,
and special soul. I am truly thankful.
