Some days…..

more than others
with reasons unexplained
and these emotions
undefined
so unrefined
and raw

in my heart, softly stewing
feel the storm of you
imminently brewing
steadily undoing
me

and I
unravel
what is already
threadbare
and there
unprotected
from this aching
unexpected

it’s all I can do
I know
oh I know
no..no
there never will be
me
letting you go

I can live with that! Nicely done dear lady.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Oh Susan, I absolutely love that the picture brings home the "never" of letting go..

Ponderful and wonderful, this presentation.
I normally don't care for photo-writes, preferring to conjure up my own imagery based upon a writer's word choices.
In this case, the photo intrigues, and enhances poetic interpretation.

the picture of the person sitting in the
sun's rays could be a story of itself.
Lots of feelings planted within this poem,
well done Susan.

You write beauty
amidst all the thoughts
to consider

And the picture is incredible
and works so well with this poem.

SEA, this was just so beautiful my friend, penned with heartache ink, by a heart that longs and won't let go; so much enjoyed the talent shown and the emotion of this, thank you.
