isn't it strange how life's paths
can bring two total strangers
to meet at a crossing

whether here by fate
certainly not coincidence
who knows, maybe destiny

two lives opposite
each other meet

one giving up on love
thinking time has passed by

the other cast out into the world
never knowing how it feels
to be loved
never able to show love back

both strangers to the world
opposite in life attract

Scared, afraid to reach out
maybe stumble at the first step
we have gotten here for some reason
both lives long
and unhappy in different ways

lets us walk slowly
into what lays ahead
