.

In a curve
A slender half circle
Someone eternal
Danced across our now

No more than that

And yet that moment
Natasha briefly on the stage
Is all the audience will recall

Since she became
Beyond herself
Each girl who ever was

While codgers could turn
To their own then in mind
Remembering

Oh yes
When we were young . . .
Once she was so beautiful

That any man however strong
He might have been in other ways
Could not help but fall in love

I love the imagery that comes into my mind when reading this ~~ like a small movie, with scenes that go through a lifetime. As always I so enjoy your poetry
