In a state of limbo

0 posted 2007-02-13 02:25 PM

It’s a long cold road I’ve traveled,
Filled with fun and doom,
The end makes me sad,
The end has come too soon,
I wish the good times would last,
And in retrospect the bad,
For every tear I’ve shed instead,
I’ve felt some dread but glad.
Some lessons have been learned,
Digested and passed through the system,
Some absurdity’s been laughed at,
And I’ve cried at my own schism,
For every grey day,
There’s been a sunny one in return,
The give and take is no mistake,
I love to watch them merge,
Life’s dialectic is beautiful,
Living it dutiful,
And some of it may be easy to refute,
But much of it inscrutable,
That is the truth,
No bargains given,
So life your life and keep on living,
Me, I’ll continue on to my destination,
And the memories, I will relive them.

A good poem to work thru my mind as I drift to sleep.  It's interesting and I like how it's written.

Thank you.

Opto-MISTic Poem,

seeing the whole mirror glass;

like my "Sam's Mirror"

Your off rhymes cut like the breeze.

True! Life is please, with no ease.

Yet life carries, "Lesson Juan"

sees, "The Birds and the Bees"

much Thanks for your poem entries.

I loved this part!
