It holds a heart
so close
thorn free
to pearled bosoms
chocolate is served
fingers adjust pearls
steamed pressed
swirls, curled
folds where to go
hands fix lapels
what to give
yourself is plenty
on Cupid's day
for crimson red..

would that be
assorted gifts
flowered mist
or delicious
confectionary
hearts?

Not a pale suit
nor inorganic hue
but thorn free
full, lustrous
aside of cocoa menues
steamed pressed slacks
intent gazes
of an exchange
yourself was plenty
on a bow and arrow day
for the colour
of deepest red...
someone will recieve
and another gasp
at attracted moments
between hearts.

loved the phrase:
"someone will recieve
and another gasp
at attracted moments
between hearts."

but I did find myself wanting a nougat
