thy first embrace, beware its siren sounds
lest tendrils sweet entwine thy mind’s desire
and stifle strong thy senses in its bounds—
set free thyself and light thy soul afire

to love unchained, untrussed, thy appetite
for unexplained and verdant sighted dreams
beats strong upon thy heart’s impassioned might
and settles soft in thoughts and quiet schemes

in fantasy so free and bold it turns
the eye of soul into reality
and traces thought do touch thy skin and burn
in fervor fraught with love’s acidity

and bond the hearts of lovers soft in one
to plant and bloom desire so fresh begun

In the midst of winter,

An invincible summer.

It all begins with a "first".  Well written. Enjoy your "voice".

A voice that speaks volumes heart to heart.
This is magnificent in it's honesty and truth...thoughts I share, views I've come to know.
First embrace...wonderful write Steaven.

I kept going back to reread this verse:

"to love unchained, untrussed, thy appetite
for unexplained and verdant sighted dreams
beats strong upon thy heart’s impassioned might
and settles soft in thoughts and quiet schemes"

~ Utterly loverly!
