on the way to next world

Started from the bottom
crawled to the top
in a dog ridden town
with gameboard stores
fictional people
invisible dog
bark with bites
any town waits
for the glass to be cleaned
polished then broken
rubbed to clear crystal
but the dog barked
stranger in town
someone hid
an abandoned mine
after the next...

so what does the woman do?
learns to appeal
gets used for sex appeal
learns to give service
gets serviced
the quiet becomes rude
the gentry uncivil
about people scraping
a life from thistles
imaginary gooseberries
abused is her lot
chained to a cot
the dog barks
when will morning come
she pleaded to her user

Its too late he said
she was already used
her only wretched hope
like the desperate
rest
her sweetness became
fuel for reciprocal
deceit...
when the boss came
promised protection
for her use
turned to power
as she shot a little
and any town died
a limo engine ran
and she was promised
power to avenge.

she'll rise again
townsfolk conjecture
to hide in the mines
afflict the town
kindness then revenge
the way that powers go
between obscene gestures
naked thoughts
on gameboard avenues
fake lined
the gooseberry kind
where the dark barks
and people don't hear.
