My hands have seen you, once
not so near as the breeze,
that just now touches your face,
        ~michael

your hands saw me
once
caught up in amaze
silken content
garnet in color
draped over whole light

your hands watched
whispers fill me
with wait
the past is now

your hands plucked
milkweed pod
fashioned a woman petal
never seen before
a color unknown to radiance

your hands listened
to woman song
softly lilted
in sparkling web
of your weave

then
your hands
lifted the breeze that just now
touched my face
folded the sky
and were gone

I was never touched
till your hands saw me

Ah so beautiful Kate.
Lovely indeed...enjoying this series so much.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

You write beautiful poetry. I'm an "old" member of the pages and not here as often as I'd like to be. I've not read your work before but will be sure to catch some more of your poetic grace
