.

Dawn comes
Gray blue
On Salmon Bay

A small commercial fishing boat
Gently rolls on little waves
That rise and fall
Without drama or carnival
Under a sparsely clouded sky

One man
Is pulling the anchor in
Another sorts lines
Each focused
On his job

Since life goes on
Being what matters
No matter
What anyone says

Or failed to do
To make it good

.
