Pieces Of Stars Shine brightly The black velvet feeling of loss is night Cradling a passing hour in my dreams Exploring of light The salty taste of hope unquenchable Though vain, I suppose, to wish you here Aura of fire Fine, the liquid glass fragments sieve Jewels that capture more honesty than gleam Shine brightly These parts of me mold solely to sigh Mined and melted in a fathomless sky Pieces of stars Too precious to be cast away, the break of day Hushed within the dawn, hushed within the dawn Shine brightly If but this moment when dreams are real We would gather starlight in heavy breaths Copyright Kkh 2/6/07 |

went outside earlier tonight to see Venus and Mercury...this beautiful poem conjures up those beautiful scenes all over again...loved it...skillful write... |
