Beautiful indeed!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Interloper darling man, You did it again this is special indeed.

Truly worth coming in for

My raison d'être
My reason for drawing breath
A reason to live

Wonderful you are
A writer without compare
Such poetic skill

I have just finished doing Haiku, or as I renamed it hate-ku in my Uni. course, there is something less than lovely about Basho
On a bare branch
A rook roosts
Autumn dusk

(source Basho, in Bownas and Thwaite, 1964, p111, lines 1 and 2)
the translation from Japanese just doesn’t do anything for me at all, how I wish I could have had something like your writing to work on, then maybe I would have enjoyed it so much more. I would have loved having your work to get my teeth into.
Love and warm stuff
as always
Mushy

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

Thank you all ... and just a reminder ...
I write mostly in American Senryu

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Chris ~
my lovely friend Chris
has never written simply
just beautifully

Martie ~
how I hate it so
when you write better than me
but it is the norm

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
