cold step
  of stone, save courage,
        tred

          angels quiver
    float feathered sted

          drop bread in breeze
    o'er desert bone
manna of morning

        warm honeyed scone
  with word to scribe
more wildly sweet

lay starlit satin
            at my feet

  wanton will
        dawns dream
  to linger

      slow secrets, braille
            soft lips to finger

        songsung shadows
    shimmmer taste

winds contoured willow

              deep kiss

    ...and lace

Well, m'dear Klassy Karen, this lovely piece of poetry certainly got this angel quivering!

So good to read the genteel offerings of your illustrious quill! It's been a very long while, my friend!!!

Love to you,

EA
