Agriglyph Dreams

Beyond  beneficent starlight glow
within timeless trails of tear-flow,
mid dreamscapes and raw reality
lies...truth.

I listen to a symphony of spirit whispers
descending in consciousness streams,
pointing me to fields of ambered grain
where I might find the hidden wisdom
of space-time wanderers,
(or Gaia’s warning call?!)
within circle-signs of sacred geometry
scribed spontaneously on open fields;
intricate designs replicated in all life forms,
dynamic and rhythmic, undulating patterns
pressed upon the face of Mother Earth.

The quest for truth and understanding
leads me to venture beyond my mind’s fixed horizon,
to decipher some cosmic intent within the agriglyphs.
The circles appear to chart a course
along some pathway of unity,
to help me find the ultimate balance point
that leads to global peace and harmony.

Yet I must acknowledge the possibility
these signs may be
mere expressions of complexity
born of chaos,
never plain, nor simple,
and perhaps,  no message exists.

I am a seriously trained scientist...

All 'crop circles' are NOT 'human hoaxes'!...

Regardless of their possible 'mix' of origins,
they collectively form the most significant set
of phenomena in human history...I am MOST
happy to see that someone did a 'write' (and a
very good one at that) on this significant (but
typically ignored and/or ridiculed) topic!

sustained applause!!

Thank you dearest poet Bruce. It's a damn shame so many people choose to believe these circles are hoaxes. Some indeed are, but most are not. They truly are the most incredible phenomena of our time!

Midnitesun,

Crop circles have been around for ages.  Many modern ones are admitted hoaxes.  When I lived in the country, I had one in my field after a big wind and rainstorm.  It was a circle.

I go with the wind and rain theory, small tornados or rain spouts.

Kacy, I loved this.  I believe they are a form of communication, I really do.  Have you read about the most recent one?  Check it out:  http://earthfiles.com/index.php?category=Headline+News

I am fascinated by crop circles and have watched several televised programs on the subject. I have also read numerous books and articles ~ and the more I learn ~ the more I believe that the majority of them are a form of communication from other worlds.

Kacy, this was a very impressive piece of poetic writing on the subject of crop circles. I enjoyed it very much.

Kacey,

We recently had a large crop circle nearby, which was eventually proven to be a man with a roller!

However one of the problems with things we do not understand is that as soon as somebody fakes them the whole world seems to deny they exist.

This poetry reaches a lot further than crop circles...need I say more?

Gaia's warning call--

oh my lovely friend, I wondered when they asked the dead bodies floating in New Orleans, why, they chose to live and die here, if they would be so rude to London--subject of the tidal river whims of the Thames--or the ingenious people of the Netherlands--and I try really hard to not ask the same as I watch the hardships now being realized in places that were previously deemed "safe".

That what we don't understand, we will eventually...and you write with that knowing.

(I tried to write you too--so... hit my button, k?)

I love very much that you write with love.

so thank you for writing this...

To all who read and replied...thanks!
It is true some were hoaxes...but not the majority. Anyone who really researches these crop circles will come to the same conclusion, they could not have been made by pub buddies and boards. They are messages or symbols that no doubt have great meaning...what the message is or from whom, is where the questions must begin. But the governments of at least two powerful countries choose to ignore and ridicule the entire phenomenon. What are they afraid of, what do they choose to hide/ignore?
