When I close my eyes I can type my mind A black canvas until slowly Lights shimmer, maybe stars Maybe life lights pointing me In the right direction A rainbow wavers in from the left Pastel palette painting into woven Sheets of subtle that becomes brilliant All captured behind my closed eye lids A sensuous aurora dances Light green mixing with pale yellow Soft colors, soothing the brain Raining silence on troubled thoughts Restoring peace as they flicker When I close my eyes I see colors Wrapping into artistic invitation And my body dances in quiet reflection With colorful streamers tantalizing my closed eyes --- Alison |

This is fantastic!!!! It answers a lot of the questions in my last poem and brought tears to my eyes.....My Grandma just passed on her birthday and I thought of her answering me in this. Thank you. ~~~kingsangel~~~ |
