SummerSet

My heart thunders still those elongated dreams
The patient of willow-danced dangle soft streams
Horizons smooth sovereignty accented in deed
Suspended on cloud cups, conclusions concede

Supposing the closing of chapters could hook
All davenport prologues that outline outlook
By fleet flickered kisses between our two minds
Indomitable wishes requite warm refines

Summer shines in its offering playful regale
Letting down all the layers yet so tender and pale
Where my spirit blows lazily, whispers ignite
Still beside on this ride through ephemeral flight

Oh, the background still building sufficiently fueled
‘Til the burst of held breath streaked the sky diamond jeweled
Passion’s heart-song delayed with a vertical sigh
These horizons as endless as love might deny
