I could pretend
to hold the moon
and kiss it

Like I would kiss
you
in the salted sea
that swims
between us

or
I could climb
a mountain
in hope
to spot your smile
in the flight
of an eagle
searching
to fill
emptiness

Dreams
do not always
come true

True love
does

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow
