From Lover’s Lips

Your name waters from my lips
Echoes into seashell shapes of thought, it drips
A day such as this in the drifts
Uninhibited moves, hidden shadow shifts
Mounting hills of fantasy dust
Thaws gleaming, pearl in lust, it streams
Simple pleasures fill my dreams

From afar comes in whimsical jar
A thrill, making dance, strings my spine in guitar
Blue mood that melts in the trace
Falling softly caress of your face
Exploring your eyes with my gaze
Nature girl, prone to laze, let to roam
By the fire, snow melts, fingers moan

Coming near, singes spice in delight
Flavors blend, making merry past dusk, through the night
Never ending, the spin, of the love held within
Trailing time where the snow of emotions have been
In the afterglow hours, peaceful flight of snow showers
Nature boy, prone empowers, kisses sweet
Every slope of your wishes, soul deep

quote: "Simple pleasures fill my dreams"

Kathleen, I have those kind of dreams, too. I only wish that atleast one would come true.

TD:
Your poetry is alive, descriptively poignant; this is one of your best!
Love this verse, but the entire write is magnificent.
