Itinerant Pulse

In baseline of life flows unconquerable will
By the measure of telling would the strong heart be still

Sunken eyes may betray of a loss to the core
Yet in tribute lives on the resolve to explore

Undeniable pain in the thread bare of hours
There is ease to succumb where the darkness devours

Though to stand facing North without burden of pride
Courses planned by intention thus inherent inside

Stutter start is the heart on a journey ingrained
Where the humble must kneel as the sorrow is drained

Spilled in rivers of love, set to rest and let pass
Is that not as the law of perennial green grass

This began in a heartbeat yet unaltered by time
Still as strong in the drum of one love made divine

At your side presses timeless every impulse so strong
In the drum of forever there will I still belong

Kathleen~

'Stutter start is the heart on a journey ingrained
Where the humble must kneel as the sorrow is drained'

I have come to the 'stutter start' so many times in my life ... I do Knee-A-Lize, as I attempt to drain the sorrow~

Such a soft pour of ink~

many tremendous lines and 'images' such as:

“In baseline of life flows unconquerable will…”;

“Sunken eyes may betray of a loss to the core
Yet in tribute lives on the resolve to explore…”

”Undeniable pain in the thread bare of hours…”

Applause!!

"Sunken eyes may betray of a loss to the core

And this poem is a most beautiful and loving tribute.
