I See

I saw the bane of stigmas day
Enigma of the white of light
Those echoes bouncing pantomime
Then the rain washed that away

I saw the red beneath the clay
The rot and root the bed of store
The drain of prime and given time
Then the rain washed that away

I also looked on dogmas play
Eat the heart with drips of lime
That brings the quip of silent sound
Then the rain washed that away

I’ve seen the acid of the spray
Laying clean the falling sands
Where once again the trumpet calls
Then the rain washed that away

But somewhere in a future day
Even chaos will wash away
