You told me I was
always at my
best in the
dead of
night.
Words
that were
profound
with musical
accompaniment
made us weep.

Oh how you tested me
with questions on
sincerity, until
with relief,
dawn broke,
and we slept off
the intensity of our
sexual reasurance.
