Dear Doctor Love
I'm still a mess
I barely fit
my nurses dress
I'm just holed up
in house all day
I cannot think
another way
Maybe if I
can write a rhyme
I'll get back to
a better time
It's easy still
to get depressed
You see, I know
I'm slightly less
But maybe words
can cure my ills
or Doctor Love
with some new pills

(I'm not back to normal yet guys, just reaching out to try to make myself write again. Love to all)

Well, lookee here! Where the dickens have you been, sister nurse!

"Maybe if I
can write a rhyme
I'll get back to
a better time"

~ Well, if that be the case, then let the good times  begin! This poem is in perfect rhyme and time!

So good to see you posting again! You've been missed!

Loving hug,

Well, blow me down. Lookie whose here! How completely delightful to see you. And you know my opinion. Writing is good for the soul. Welcome home and I enjoyed the write almost as much as I enjoyed seeing you back.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

We each deal with loss and recovery in our own way, but I found that celebrating the wonderful things shared in life with a friend of mine warmed my heart, but dwelling on the loss of her literally chilled my soul to the bone.  Try to remember to laugh and enjoy the good things shared as they were meant to have been.   May God see you through this Sandra, it is a difficult time for sure.

Hi Catalinamoon! I am so glad to see you posting again. Believe you me, I know what it is like to be depressed. And, it is so hard to get out of the depression, and stay out.

Oh dear, this write is so strong! Be not lost in sorrow!! Step on it and let it raise you up!!

"to make myself write again"......either way you write it..right or write.. it works so well.
