Roses and Lime
Bitter and sweet
forgive me , i was too late
But I've been at the crossroads
Hoping we could meet

Garlic and pepper
Spicing up life
sulphur coated chaos
surrounding your demise
shall i serve dinner again?

Broken hearts and shattered souls
Newborn dreams and complicated goals
I could use your advice
was knocking on your casket
But no sound would arise

Dried up tears and forgotten fear
Where is that blue sky my dear?
Did our rose of love die in vain?
What is this bitter taste that remains?
oh i remember the day we met!

Roses and lime, you taught me
How it felt to be free
But everything sweet,
has something bitter as well
Realising you are gone
truely feels like hell

Roses and lime
i remain heartbroken
Until the next time
ill buy some more sweets...
