The Watering Mind

Spirit glide, a positive slide
Sinking softly into notions
A sacrifice, not poverty of emotions
Smooth the hands that massage hard fate
Gentleness, strong powers innate

Simple and kind, the watering mind
Never placid when satisfied
Contentment is the ease of will
Sculpted by a trusting heart made still
When love supports the barefoot path

Where I venture in my dreams
A pool of wonder, thunder deems

Undressed by the moon
The sparkle of uncharted waters
Drizzled in the plunge of lace it garters
Moved in the noble night, all is right
In love, much more in love

Play-scapes made of our desire
Crystal waters rimmed in fire
Cling in molten harmonies
Create and build two destinies
Come closer

Where I venture in my dreams
Fidelity from which love streams

Reads like Shakespeare, maybe even better.
Great write TD.

Another outstanding piece of poetry! Reading you reminds me of my linguistic limitations. Those words dance for you ... better yet WITH YOU.

Love the rhythm and surreal images in this.
