Miscellaneous Words

I am at a loss,
for time is ticking
the strength weakens...
fortitude, just a wall of attitude
creating a new portfolio
of the unknown.

Yesterday, the world was mine.
Today, patience
is my only greeting
with the morning and its beauty
to sustain.

Too calm, a storm brewing
as I drown in thoughts
having to dance
in another's shoes.

I lose the Lady
when the little girl
cries out for comfort,
for reassurance,
for something to grasp onto
to be able to keep above the water
that continues to mind-rise
when alone...
and waiting.

M

Wynter, what a gorgeous name. The little girl cries out in all us women. We take her shopping, caress her and learn to allow her to grow. I adore this thought process. Thank you for the journey into your private world.

an intimate, very 'real', emotive, and fine
'write' [MUCH of which I can directly relate to
(even though I am obviously 'male')]

much applause!
