In the vortex of chaos theme
I found an Isle of partial dream
Where echoes ever sail and bounce
Those reinforce and can denounce

I sifted through the mires grind
To lift the things that I could find
And make of them a castles wall
To stay a life of timely call

My mortar, possibility
Of all that chaos has to be
A mixture of those elements
That suits a life’s development

And from this waters magic sooth
I found a moment’s magic truth
And drank of it like honeyed wine
It was an anchor for my line

It is a fragile port of call
And know it cannot suit us all

"I sifted through the mires grind
To lift the things that I could find
And make of them a castles wall
To stay a life of timely call"

what do you find?
a kind heart with strong beat?
a clean soul untainted by chaos?
an agile mind as young as a child?
a booming curiosity?
the gift of art?
and love?

"And drank of it like honeyed wine
It was an anchor for my line"

What is in the drink?
friendship, care and love from others?

Can the chaos be sifted out from life?
sleep may do the job if we do not dream bad.

always enjoyed your writing.

I've beaten back a few waves myself.

And while I built that wall, it did occur to me that the very thing that brought my provisions, also took them away, sometimes more to my advantage, other tides made it less, but ever a challenge...

So the purpose must be in the "doing", yes?

Oh tell me I got it right!
