I came to the edge of Winters' raw
      glimpsing Spring in gentle thaw
     'Round the bend of green-in-blend
      came the flowers dancing
      prancing in their Easter finery
      bidding the season adieu
                        in renew
                          of the blossoms of
                                 Spring-in-fling~

Spring is evident in your words Marge, and it's in the air here today. Nicely penned.

I love the sound of
"Spring-in-fling"
Sure do!
Love ya sweet lady~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

Lovely!

Spring is definitely in fling here in the South, isn't it?

Talk to you soon...

I love poems like this one that seem to bounce right off the screen and set me bouncing too.
