Prayer at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery

Among the fallen leaves
there live their dreams;
not for wintry season
but for spring…

the icy chill shall pass by
and soon, death swallowed up
by everlasting:
living shall blossom and sing again…

Hope is in tomorrow coming in the clouds
and if I dream a peaceful sleep among the leaves
I fear not
for on His Day
I shall hear His voice and angels call my name…

Rejoice in the winter if it comes to pass -
the spring is at hand.
Though sorrow
Through grief and pain
For He is faithful to everlasting life without shame…

He is the way, the truth, and the life.
He made us for living, not for dying.
Belief, and faith is His truth,
Love is His life.
Peace and joy: harps and angels
shall soon be playing…

Salvation is our spring in Heaven
Winter is our life among the leaves.
Some shall sleep others shall never die.
Soon we shall hear resurrection sing:
“Oh death, where is your sting?”

As Lazarus was called
so shall we all
and spring will begin new life and living
Be filled with joy, my friends.
Have hope in the gift He has given…

Among the fallen leaves
there live their dreams;
not for wintry season
but for spring…

Hi JL

I liked ya poem though im not always on one side with the thoughts of hi above - smile

But most i liked :

Among the fallen leaves
there live their dreams;
not for wintry season
but for spring…

---- When the sun once again let us feel
the winter has gone and now the sun is shining, towards we then can trust
in our beliefs good or bad
But we do believe.

Smile and best wishes

Jes / Dreamer
