.

The sun sets
To the West
On Frankfort Michigan

Along the shore
Lights of town
Begin to shine

Bells on pretentious
Little sporting boats
At anchor softly ring

The summer air
At night was cool
In the forest
Crickets sang

We hardly cared
What hour it was
Or if dawn as well
Ever came

Thank you
