I am jealous of her
diosa en blanco
the white goddess
her hands
mere moments of thought
lying on the air
slender smile hiding in plain view
eyes closed
she sees new light
feels old love

she knows what she has in mind
gold cord crossing her bosom
white draped ankles
she waits

oh they come
pay homage
plead with her heart
silently

she is unmoved

you kneel
on one knee
the other bent in proud angle
tip your chin
black cape flowing onto earth
silver blade held high
for her blessing

she turns
almost unseen
breeze catches white sleeve
eyes flutter

you bow your head
slowly

and I am jealous of her

Gorgeous imagery here, and love how it flows, just like the gown. Awesome!

Lady Kate... I am sure that the cold marble heart of a statue goddess could not come close to the warm soul you have so often exhibited with your beautiful words. Such a wonderful example is shared here and I thank you, most kindly.

Milady... I concede to the truth of your words, and bow to your insight and gentility. Perhaps we gentlemen need try harder to provide reassurance and humility. Still a very lovely write, Kate. A joy to read and reread, again and again.

there are still gentile gentlemen to be found
men of love and romance

"she sees new light
feels old love" <----love this line

A little zealous vigilance is not always a bad thing.  She most likley approves. *wink wink*

always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same
