come walk with me this path of roses
which will lead us to your dreams of love
to pools of shedded tears and laughter
come watch what earth looks from above

the shining sun is warming all your roses
and they will bloom in memory of you
bushes green will shelter little birds
singing songs in early morning dew

we will smile when little drops of rain
turn into diamonds of sparkling light
come walk with me this path of roses
which will lead to your eternal night

May Hobijn was a great artist and a fantastic gardener. She was a very good friend of my family.
I named our eldest daughter Iske May after her.
May Hobijn died at the age of 75, too soon, on March 7, 2007

may peace rest upon your soul

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow
