       "Old Soldiers"

    Old soldiers
        do not die
    nor do they
        fade away.
    Noble knights of
        time gone by
    stand watch
        till break of day.

The eyes
are upon you...

my husband use to have
a shirt that had a very
old man with one eye open

the other closed,
and it was of the military man
watching over us.

I truly liked that shirt.
