settling in the crevasses
of mem’ry
…undisturbed

by reason or vanity de-scribed
letters assemble,
pummeling the senses

speed-reading through life’s respites
like blade runners on frozen lagoons
that time neglects, while

rustling loosens the leaf
settled in the crevasses
of mem’ry
…disturbing its rest

crumbling its solitude
in landslides of accentuation
chafing its gilded edge

retracing its highlights
with bland decoration
removing the polished spread

that coats the essence
of expectation with longings
fully undone by
recollections
settling in the dust
of fantasy

reality at its finest
aspiring in technique, almost clandestine essense surrounds

I loved this...
speed-reading through life’s respites
like blade runners on frozen lagoons
that time neglects, while

our essential nature perhaps?  this was a fantastic read.

Magnificent is a small word when used to describe the beauty and gentle fall of your words...Yours is a talent the fills the senses with rare delight as the vision you paint softly caresses them....**Big Hug**
