let not my heart speak,
lest it speak of thee
let not my songs sing
lest they sing of thee

o realm of thought laid bare
uncovered by gentle hand
of fate—unsought, yet shared
by kindred spirits’ band,

bound by love’s sure course
unbridled, unleashed, set free
requite thyself with no remorse
recourse thyself in me

and so, my enchanted…
