My mind wanders, My heart ponders, I think I love My mind dreams, My heart teems, I think I love My mind thinks, My heart drinks, I think I love My mind receives My heart deceives I think I love My mind ignores My heart implores I think I love My mind tries My heart dies I think I love My mind is wired My heart is tired I can't think I can't love I can't live if I have to think and love. I can't stand it if my heart listens to my brain above. How do you do it? How do you live while you think and love? Why can't I just think when I need to think? Why can't I just love when I need to love? Why do I have to love to think? Why do I have to think to love? Pick one already! Pick one and be ready! Pick your mind and think already! Pick your heart and love already! Alas, I can't do as I want. I do as I must. I think and I love With a longing to trust. Rachael |
