I've wonder the earth looking for a reason
I've walked alone not knowing if I'll find it...
I've loved immensely, only to be left alone
Is it worth it?... Do you know?
I can't promise you a garden of roses
I can't promise you forever
I could only promise a here and now...
a tomorrow and a smile... a tender touch.. a word of comfort..
My heart,  you've already taken swiftly into your hands..
All I ask of you... is to hold it as part of your own
I don't expect a forever
I don't expect a garden of roses
I expect a promise of a here and now...
a tomorrow and a smile.. a tender touch.. a word of comfort
Is it too much to ask?
Or is it exactly, what we were meant to be in each others lives..

Asking to be loved is not asking for very much..asking someone to trust in your love on the other hand might be a little harder nice write
