I held your waist and lifted you high
in the moon-flower fragranced air
Then spun you ‘round and set you down,
pulling the ribbon from your hair

You put an arm around my neck
as we stood motionless and tense
Then as to a calling in your blood,
you stepped away and danced

You moved to an ancient rhythm
swaying in a mysterious flow
A free and frenzied weaving
to a tune I didn’t know

When the dance was finally done with you,
with all your passions spent,
you took your ribbon away from me
and tied it ‘round my wrist

As a warm, sprinkling rain began to fall,
the sky and trees were applauding
You laughed and held me in your arms,
just as the gypsy warned me...

Excellent.

May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.
