I thought I knew love as
physical attraction,
warm affection,
or passionate desire,
always knowing of
something higher;
an essence,
a presence,
combined with it all;
forever, together,
we will fall;
into depths as never before,
Somehow eternity opened her door;
I know now what love is
and it has no end,
It’s transferred like energy,
where we focus it begins;
Keep your eyes on the one, who has your heart,
So that you stay in love and never part.
