I am ready to head out the door I have my purse It’s time to go Oh where are my keys? I look for them in their usual place They’re not there I look at the clock and see that I am running late Where are my keys? Help me find my keys! I insist Someone smart says You’ll find them where you left them So I look and look to see where they might be I search and search and what do I find 4 pairs of eye glasses I had been looking for Just yesterday I am so tired, I sit down with a frown One more time I’ll check my purse Unzip a zippered pocket ‘I found them” I say! Where were they? A wise guy says My response “Right where I left them! Don’t forget to take your cell phone Someone says. "I don't know where it is Will you help me look?" I’ll call your number You listen So I run from room to room Hearing nothing I declare it’s either dead Or it’s on vibrate Ring it again I say Then I run from room to room again I give up! I say I won’t need it. Again I’m headed towards the door Finally I’m able to get in the car I hear the beeping of the cell phone Thank goodness I found it! I quickly give my husband a call “I found the phone !” Good! he says. “Do youknow where the remote might be?” The wise guy in me says “ It’s right where you left it!”  [This message has been edited by Songbird (10-04-2007 01:34 AM).] |
