I’m beautifully broken
So prettily torn up inside
Everything you’ll never say
Makes me cry
I must be so stupid
To let you make me feel so bad
And then you make me mad
You make me sad…

And I cry
Iridescent tears in the pale moonlight
Lying in the dark
Wishing for the comfort of your arms
That’ll never come
I don’t know if I’d wish for time undone
But you’ll never know
That I ever felt this way

Beautifully broken
So prettily torn up inside
Crying iridescent tears in the pale moonlight
Lying in the dark
Wishing for the warmth of your arms
That’ll never come
Not wishing for time undone
And I don’t know why
I cry for you
I don’t know why
I feel I need you
I don’t know why
I can’t go a day
Without talking to you
Seeing your face

Being beautifully broken
So prettily torn up inside
Didn’t know it would hurt this bad
When I'm forced to lie
Telling them I don’t love you every day
Looking them in the eyes
Saying it to their face

Beautifully broken
So prettily torn up inside
If you asked me if I loved you
I’m sure I’d lie
And I don’t know why I’d choose to be

Beautifully Broken

I really loved the one sentence: `Iridescent tears in the pale moonlight.` It gave a really strong image. Very powerful emotions overall.
