forlorn thoughts are all thats left
of my once paradicicle life
i can only sit and stare
down the edge of the knife

lucid and distinct
are the words in my mind
twisted and formed
into a being of life

you stand before me
with these appolagies
but will they bring back
what you took from me

lacerated feelings
from the depths of my soul
you got what you wanted
but at what toll
