I am sitting here on my bed,
trying to remember the last time.
Trying to remember the last time meaning flowed from a simple kiss.

When did a hug contain any feeling,
and when did "I love you" mean just that?

Hi tearsoflove13762,

I'm quite surprised and honored to be the first one to post on this piece. It has been awhile since I've read any of your work and I'm glad I didn't miss this post.

There is so much being said in these few lines, so much truth! I loved this piece a lot. I’m hoping you have more like this and I’ll be looking forward to reading your next post

"The rising morning can't insure that we shall end the day; For death stands ready at the door to snatch our lives away"
