I watch her, your mother, Touch your arm. I watch her, Circling round your space, never far. You are mine, have ever been. Before we were, We were in His scheme. But she has never relinquished of her hold And this I know As we grow old That you are hers And always will. A mother's love? A wife's? A son's ? You are hers when All's said and done. I move away and let her have those secret thoughts;of giving life ,of suckling lips,of all the unknown aches and pains as she tucks you safe inside her once again. |

ah this is so beautiful to read.. a mother's love is very strong... good write and thank you for sharing... I read your post on Rick's poem... I hope you are safe from the fires.. such a tragedy  RDB Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |
