I can see what you're getting at Trickery is going to be harder to hide than that. I just don't see why you would lie, Why would false sincerity be something you would even try? The secrets we've shared, You've told me you cared. You've never felt this way. I'm someone you'd never betray. You're above those silly games, Pretending not to care and calling names. All these things you've told me, So why aren't you acting with sincerity? Because suddenly its about her smile, And the time you spend with her, more than once in awhile. No, you don't have feelings for her, is what you say. So what are you looking for when you say all those things that turn me away? A reaction? Emotion? I don't get you, I don't understand why. But my tears to cry over you have run dry. Once upon a time I could chase you forever. I wouldn't get tired because you're someone for now until ever. But things have changed, I've seen your lies. Suddenly you're not all that perfect in my eyes. Jealously doesn't always work, my friend. Because of it, my feelings have come to an end. Flattery is cute, can make anyone swoon. But the feelings wear out, and i'm not sorry it came so soon. Now its just my luck, All you've said is stuck, In my messed up mind, I'm looking at him, but you're not far behind. Those times when your words would ring in my head, All I could think about before I go to bed. Why did you change, what did you want me to say? You're right, I'm jealous of her, now love me today? You were wrong. You made my feelings last not so long. I've found someone better, he's been there all the while. Are you jealous now, that his words make me smile? |

Well, I'm glad you finally got out of that last relationship. Hope the new guy makes you smile forever. Way it should be and you're right jealousy never really works. It just creates an unpredictable reaction. Welcome PIP Talk forums. I'm sure you'll like it here. Eric |
