Pale Din Resonation

The penning of silence ceases
Attuned to the anticipatory boldness of new time
Weathered against the frozen husk of winter
All of life akin in the masquerade and majesty
As if astounded, the shock of frozen rivers thaw
Momentary, as a flake in nonchalance
Moving slowly away from pause, taking merit
Taking mask away, the icy stare of a cold clue
Just a glimpse of solemnity, for underneath the frozen waters
Courses new life, speed and spirit of a higher knowing
Regeneration continues on in flowing
This is the time of deepest relevance
Earthly elegance, against the backdrop of January
Soon

As per usual, I was in a dilemma as to which lines to quote from all those great ones!!!

I settled on the following ~

"Just a glimpse of solemnity, for underneath the frozen waters
Courses new life, speed and spirit of a higher knowing"

TD, you are a poetess of eloquence and grace! ~ and may the coming new year be one of calming peace, prosperity, and joy!

Warm hug,
EA

Beautifully illustrating that even mother nature uses a face cream now and then to revitalize her elegance.  Love the theme, love the write.  Well done.

you have to be one of my favorite wordsmiths...just love what you do with words in their sequences...like these two beautiful examples:

"a flake in nonchalance"
"the icy stare of a cold clue"
