What if
What if there was no point in life?
Nothing to gain but pain and strife.
The people we love and cherish the most,
Could be nothing but a simple ghost.
What if we were all alone?
Our screams, nothing but a high pitch tone,
That no one can hear,
Because there no one is near…
What if this world was all make believe?
Then the world that we perceive
As our life and time
Would be nothing but an endless climb.
What if you had no one to count on?
To feel as though everyone is gone,
The time when someone is truly needed
Is there an end where we could have succeeded?
What if we could spend a day in someone else’s shoes?
Would we be able to handle other views
Without trying to discriminate
Or would we just bring about the hate?
What if there was no light?
And we lost all vision and sight,
To look into our future and see that,
We can’t know where our lives will end at.
What if…

~   hiya babmbae,

I'm knew here too..
I think there are times when we all ask ourselves many questions...the answers often come from within, but not always...can all questions truly be answered?

food for thought here, my friend
thank you for sharing

*hugs*

What if, indeed,
good to peek into our thoughts
and seek a path through the maze,
well said this one,

It's always good to questions things...
because when you arrive at some answers,
you'll realize the heavy weight you've let
go of, just for that very answer.

Sometimes asking the hard questions help you find a clear path.
