Yo Bill,

My dawg Hilda found this very upsetting.  You better find that dawg.  No one goes anywhere without the dawg.

As long as it floats, it's a river worthy boat.
I've been on yacht trips that were highly over rated, and had more fun on an inner tube floating down the river with a Botabag of wine dangling in the water.  LOL.
Enjoyed your yacht.

This is cute.

I'm not a big fan of pictures with poems, but I love this picture.

What a lucky man you are, to have such freedom and sense of humor. Fun poem.

Hey, Bill, I just love your sense of humour.
Must say though: I'm a tad jealous of your good looking yacht, I'd love to be on the upper deck with a beer. Happy holidays.

Bill, I crack up every time I get that picture in an email or something. lol
But I like the tone of this one because it hits close to home. Rednecks are my people.

Bobby - we finally did find the dawg. Dakota actually found us. He was swimming along side the yacht, y'aaaahhhhhhooooo!

Midnitesun - I've been on logs that floated and to me it was a boat. Now to float a river on an inner tube with a Botabag of wine is very tempting...

critical mass - I believe a picture with a poem helps explain the words, but that's just me...

Billie - I love writing. At times a poem with humour breaks up my thoughts, but for the good of course...

Osprey - We'll be stopping at the next riverbank if you'd like to meet us. We have beer on the upper sunning deck, and you're welcome to join for the cruise...

Chalmette Guy - the first time I saw this photo I almost fell off the chair with laughter, it's precious. I saved it and decided to write a little humour poem for it... Rednecks are my people also, my sister and brothers live in WV...

SEA - I miss home also down in the WV hills...

Thanks all for your replies...

I applaud redneck ingenuity.  I would love to take a trip on this contraption.  Your poem brought a chuckle, too.

2islander2 - when I first seen the photo I about fell off the chair, just loved it. Had to write a little poem to go with it...

Pilgrimage - We're stopping at the next dock, hop aboard...

Lindsay - I can only imagine a trip down the river on this here river boat. Steak is on, be ready in about 10 minutes. Pick you up at the next dock with Pilgrimage...

The dawg is probably swimming underneath to help out that itty bitty motor thing on the back.  Dang, it looks like something I saw on rafting down the river here a few summers ago.

Love this one, BC.

Lindy Lou - a most romantic yacht for sure, got the inside fixed up just nice. Ya'll hop aboard anytime...

steavenr - that photo really gets around but never have seen a poem about it. Had a lot of fun writing this one...

Kethry - we did find the dawg right where you said he would be...

passing shadows - hop aboard, there still some room...

Alison - we did find the dawg where Kethry said he'd be, however, I believe he's been going back and forth helping out the motor also...

Never a dull moment when you love a redneck!   I've a friend who lives on a houseboat in the bay.  Much to her dismay, she has to find an apartment before long and let the boat go, do to upkeep she can no longer manage.  However, it is a little more posh than your redneck haven, but she will love reading this.  I gotta share it.
