SILK / In Time of Circumstance

Upon his silkworm journey to Japan
a woman made such a strong impression
on a man, so though he was married he made
love to this woman with no hesitations
and yet he professed to love his wife.
The women with which he made love gave
him a message upon his departure that
he had translated upon his return.
The message was "Come back or I shall die."
This message though written on paper was
burning in his heart, stirring up his thoughts
and giving him desires to return to Japan.
Upon the day he returned he found himself
in the middle of a feudal war in which he
nearly died and searched for her to no avail.
Returning home he found in his absence he
had received a letter from her in the mail.
Upon translation within the letter their
love story she did tell and each part
of the love story he remembered well.
Some years passed and his sickly wife
grew weary and died, and though he
claimed to love her he couldn't cry.
Later he found out the reason why his
wife had become sickly and died.
His wife had the letter translated
and wished she could be that women
who's love her husband shared and she
died of a broken heart caused by the
man for whom she had cared.

If you enjoyed this you will probably
enjoy the movie "SILK" starring Michael
Pitt and Keira Knightley...I rented the
DVD at Blockbuster...

Very sad story James.
Takes two to love. It ain't no one way street.

Well related though James and it peaked my interest to see the movie.

Take care

Eric
